Maybe the bard attempted to seduce the wrong noble's daughter...
Maybe the barbarian lost their cool...
Maybe the party are just a menace to society... (that's probably it.)
Regardless of how they got into these cells, only one thing is for sure. The party need to find a way out of this place before they face whatever judgement awaits them.
